Savor the flavors of quality and simplicity with this gourmet dish featuring fresh, wild-caught halibut—a true gem not often found at your local grocery store. Elevate your dinner tonight!

Directions

  1. Season the halibut with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add butter to the skillet. Once it starts to slightly brown, add the halibut, top side down. Sear until nicely browned, about 4 minutes.
  4. Add lemon slices to the skillet as the fish cooks for another 3-4 minutes. Fully cooked halibut is opaque and firm and will flake easily with a fork.
  5. Once the halibut is done cooking, transfer the fish and lemon to a plate.
  6. Keep the heat at medium and pour wine into the pan, bringing it to a boil while scraping browned bits off the bottom of the skillet. Cook until the wine is almost completely evaporated.
  7. Add lemon juice, capers, and parsley. Cook for a minute, then remove from heat and add in 2 tablespoons of butter, stirring to combine.
  8. Return the halibut to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fish to coat. Cook for 1 more minute, then serve and enjoy! ✨
