Holiday Crab-Stuffed Shrimp

These crab-stuffed shrimp are an easy holiday showstopper — buttery, savory, and packed with fresh jumbo lump crab meat. Made with OceanBox’s wild-caught colossal domestic shrimp, this recipe delivers restaurant-level flavor with minimal effort. Perfect for holiday gatherings, dinner parties, and entertaining all season long.

Directions

  1. Prep the shrimp: Butterfly each shrimp by slicing down the back without cutting all the way through. Open each shrimp like a book and pat dry. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and a drizzle of olive oil.
  2. Make the crab filling:
In a medium bowl, gently mix:
    -jumbo lump crab meat
    -egg
    -mayonnaise
    -Dijon mustard
    -Old Bay
    -breadcrumbs
    -parsley
    -lemon juice

Be careful not to break up the crab lumps too much.

3. Stuff the shrimp: Place shrimp on a lined baking sheet, butterflied side up. Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of crab mixture onto each shrimp.
4. Add a breadcrumb topping (optional): If you prefer a golden crust, sprinkle a pinch of extra breadcrumbs on top of each mound of crab.
5. Bake: Bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the tops are lightly golden
6. Serve: Finish with a squeeze of lemon or extra parsley. Serve warm.
